More historic pics of my paintball experience...

Here are pics from the "next chapter"  in my paintball experience.  The dawn of SPEEDBALL!!!

Woah, big change!

Here's where I really started getting speedball focused.  There are still woods/tactical stuff on there such as the ADCO HotShot red dot sight (in place of the scope) and the homemade tactical sling.  These are detachable though, and the red dot sight can even be used for speed games on larger fields.  And what's that... stickers!?  The biggest change though, was the death of the Flatline.  I decided I wanted a more compact/tight set-up.  So, I sold the Flatline on ebay and bought a Psychoballistics Aradus Adjustable bore barrel.  It was a cool idea for a barrel, just twist the collar on the back-peice and you can shoot different sized paint.  As of now, that barrel is gone too and a J&J 2-peice has taken it's place.  Oh, and the blue on/off adjuster is on there because the original sprung a leak.

Woodsball was still alive...

I still played woodsball occasionally.  This other "VietCong" style ghillie only saw action once or twice though as it proved to be impractical because it would get tangled and caught on brush.

LP Kit!!!

The LP Kit was another one of the best upgrades I got.  I had said I would never get it because of the absence of the grooved foregrip, but I was beginning to hold the gun speedball style.  Yup that's right, the mentally challenged look.  The Palmers Male Stabilizer on there was originally the inline one on the remote.  I bought a conversion kit though, so I didn't have to use the remote if I didn't feel like it...

D/F and Crown Royal... Oh yeah

And goodbye to the remote.  I bought a used PB/DOP Prostyle D/F off of ebay and loved it.  Yes, it was big and I loved it.  Oh yeah, the crown royal tank cover heh heh.  Hey it worked and several people commented positively on it!

Right side

Here you can see the Nitro Duck micro gauge on the stabilizer, powerfeed holes in the feedneck and anti-wobble rubberband mod on the neck.  You can also slightly see a trigger stop I made using a spare screw.  I got that trigger pull really short and really light.  Pretty good for a Tippy!

Still some woods remnants

I had this setup for the extremely rare occasion that I play woods.  I think I only used this configuration once.

A boy and his tippy

Cute huh?

Woah, not cute anymore

Ok that picture was taken in a moment of wierdness on my part.  Hey, I still have that battle swab...

The Final Stage

This was it.  After four years of playing the sport, this was my setup.  I switched the 12v Revvy for a Ricochet 2k because I got real tired of having to buy new shells.  Stupid brittle Brass Eagle shells they're using now...

The Epitome of Tippmann

In my mind this baby was the epitome of a Tippmann.  Sure there was other stuff I wanted to do.  I wanted to put an AGD Warpfeed on, give it a powdercoat job, put a Morlock board in, ACE it and... well I guess it would never be done.  Maybe it's good I sold it, that would have been a huge hole in my wallet!  Just remember though, there's nothing you can't do with a Tippmann!

Super Chromium!!!

The Uber barrel, the Super Chromium was/is a joke on the Tippmann and OMHW forums.  Or is it a joke?  Is that just the front of my Aradus, or the mysterious prize one recieves when one acheives the rank of Platinum member on the Tippmann forum?

The End...

Well, after four years I sold the EM98C Stalker as I affectionately named it.  I now own a Logic XRT Custom ULE AutoMag.  I've named it "The Bruise" because of it's black and blue color scheme.  I can't say I'll never look back, but I can say I have no regrets.  I'll miss the Tippy, but maybe someday I'll find it and buy it back.  Yeah, that'd be truly awesome...
